Stephen Gareth Young (born May 1955) is a British businessman. He was the Chief Executive (CEO) of Meggitt PLC, a British engineering business specialising in aerospace equipment, from May 2013 until December 2017. Prior to that, Young held various senior financial positions including CFO or Group Finance Director roles at Meggitt PLC, Thistle Hotels plc and The Automobile Association. He is a chartered management accountant and Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
He is currently a non-executive director of Derwent London plc, Weir Group plc and Mondi Group.
