Projects that seek to engage the public

The University’s Public Engagement with Research Unit presents a dynamic and inspiring variety of events with annual festivals Being Human taking place in November, and the Southampton Science and Engineering Festival taking place ever March.

Research culture in the arts

The University is proud of its culture of supporting artistic practice, with many artists having benefitted from interdisciplinary collaborations with the University’s academics, arts venues and specialist technicians.
