Southampton has its own international airport with connecting routes to several European destinations. The hotel is 20 minutes drive from Southampton Airport. From Southampton airport to the hotel:
Frequent and convenient trains connect London to Southampton. Trains depart from London Waterloo station every 30 minutes during the day, and take approximately 75 minutes to Southampton. There are two train stations in Southampton. Coming from London, the first station is Southampton Airport Parkway station, located directly opposite Southampton Airport. The second station is Southampton Central which is 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Train timetables and fares are available online at the National Rail website. There is no need to book your train ticket beforehand unless you wish to. Ticket offices and vending machines are available at the Waterloo station.
A more affordable option is to use one of the trains or bus bookable online using the Megabus website. Only a few trains are available on this site, and once booked your tickets cannot be modified or reimbursed.
A more affordable and rather convenient option to reach Southampton from London is the coach service provided by National Express. Timetables and reservations are available online.
Coaches depart from Victoria coach station and arrive at the Southampton Central coach station which is in walking distance to the hotel.
Trains depart from Gatwick airport, train timetables and fares are available online at the National Rail website. Trains arrive at the Southampton Central train station which is in walking distance to the hotel.
