Mr Abdul Alharbi is a PhD student in the Advanced Composite Materials Facility in Chemistry, University of Southampton.

Abdul obtained his BSC and MSC in 2006 and 2011 respectively. His masters project was about CIGS thin film photovoltaic materials via High-Throughput PVD. The aim of the MSc project was to study the Na doping effects on the CIGS conductivity. He has been an academic member at the University of Shuqra in Saudi Arabia since 2013 which has been funding his PhD study at the University of Southampton. He joined the Hayden group as a PhD student in 2014 carrying out a research project related to electrocatalysts anode materials for Direct Sodium Borohydride Fuel Cells (DBFCs). The project focuses on the development of an effective anode catalyst for the DBFC using High Throughput Methods.
