Southampton welcomes Aerospace Collaboration Manager
Ben Jones has joined the University of Southampton as Aerospace Collaboration Manager. He will be responsible for helping to deliver the University's aerospace strategy and developing relationships in Aerospace and Defence, forming partnerships for research and its application.
Jones (pictured left at Farnborough International Air Show 2012) comes to the University from Rolls-Royce where he worked in a range of engineering rolls including engine performance, manufacturing and design. After leading the design of key elements in a number of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) programmes at Rolls-Royce, Ben joined the Strategy and Future Programmes Team contributing to product and market strategies as a Product Marketing Executive.
