The London and SE Spoke is the largest region of the National HE STEM programme and the Spoke office is based at the University of Southampton.
We aim to enable Higher Education Institutions in the region to to develop and share best practice across the three themes in STEM:
1. Outreach and improving recruitment effectiveness
2. Enhancing the Undergraduate experience
3. Engaging the current workforce
All of these themes are underpinned by both widening participation and employability skills. We will achieve this by:
1. Providing a one-stop-shop for information about HE STEM
2. Enhancing the work of existing STEM iniatives
3. Facilitating networking opportunities
4. Funding research and collaborative HEI practice
