Bringing Research to Life Roadshow

The University of Southampton's “Bringing research to life” roadshow is one of the ways our researchers demonstrate the impact of their work and engage with public audiences locally and across the region. In a typical year we have 7 to 9 modules from research groups across the University and a team of undergraduate Student Ambassadors in support. We exhibit to an audience in excess of 10,000 between March and September. “Bringing research to life” is an expansion of our earlier roadshows: Science of the Oceans and Spectrum of Science. The 2012 tour ended in September after an immensely successful exhibition in the Science Tent at Bestival, Isle of Wight.

Roadshow dates for 2013

If you are interested in putting your research on the road in 2013 or 2014, and/or helping to run the roadshow at events, please contact us at roadshow@soton.ac.uk  or see the link to the right for further information.
