The University of Southampton enjoys a high profile in Southampton and further afield. Our academics and students devote many hours a year engaging in a variety of schemes and activities that are aimed at improving the wider understanding and engagement with all things aviation and space related.
Through public lectures and events, open days, briefing days for leading organisations, teachers and careers advisers, demonstrations and talks in schools and colleges, we are bringing our enthusiasm to the wider community.
If you want to take part in any of our programmes, or would like to develop an new activity with us, please get in touch. To join the Aerospace mailing list please email us: aerospace@southampton.ac.uk

Through a range of on- and off-campus activities, including campus tours, open days, taster events and Easter and summer school residentials, we encourage students to consider progression to higher education
Our students give up around £1 million worth of their time each year volunteering in the community.
