We have an international reputation for:
Cyber risk
We also host one of UK's first MSc programmes in Cyber Security Risk Management, and have recently been awarded (in conjunction with University's Academic Centre of Excellence of Cyber-Security and IBM) a large grant by the High Education Academy to explore, from a learning and practical perspective, how to maximise the benefits from collaboration between external industrial cyber security experts and their own multidisciplinary staff and university students. We are also working on a project funded by GCHQ, the aim being to establish good practice for Big data anonymization, specially focused on aggregated data from multiple sources and reducing the risk of unintended disclosure.
