Face-to-face students will be given access to personal computers, email, internet, printing and photocopying facilities, a range of software packages and computing support via the iSolutions computing laboratory. Research students are provided with a personal workstation in one of the research student workrooms.
Distance learning students will be given their own University email account and access to a range of software packages and computing support via iSolutions.
All students (on all programmes) are provided with a personal tutor who can advise on academic and other University issues, and a dissertation tutor who provides advice and support during independent research. Face-to-face students also benefit from an induction to the programme, module briefings and a dedicated dissertation workshop, while distance learning students will be able to access specially prepared materials covering these areas on Blackboard.
