The Department of Gerontology is seeking to appoint two Lectureships in Gerontology (Level 4 or 5) with experience in research in the field of ageing in one or more of the following fields: in Africa, China or in south-east Asia; or in social policy in the UK, Europe or international. One post is fixed term for 2 years in the first instance as it is linked to the creation of a new MSc in Global Ageing and Policy (Distance Learning).


Active ageing on the up in EU, despite economic crisis and austerity
