How to set up and use Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a communication tool that integrates instant messaging, online meeting, voice chat, files transfer and more. During your Distance Learning programme you will use Microsoft Teams to communicate with your tutors and fellow students. Microsoft Teams can be accessed through the app on your Office 365 (access via SUSSED).

To use Microsoft Teams, you will need:

• a computer
• a broadband internet connection
• a computer headset with microphone (some laptops have inbuilt microphones and speakers)
• a webcam (if you want to make video calls)
• (a copy of Microsoft Teams)
