AHP Research Champions Announced

We are pleased to announce this week the names of the first 13 of our 15 AHP Research Champion appointments, a partnership scheme led by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the Council for Allied Health Professions Research (CAHPR).

As an important member of our community of role models and research activists, AHP Research Champions will champion the research work of AHPs and encourage more professionals to be aware of and involved in health and social care research and the work of the NIHR for the benefit of patients.

Remaining appointment announcements will be made as soon as possible but by 31 December 2018 latest. We currently do not have representation from all the AHP professions as champions and this is something we will be considering through the year of the scheme and working with our partners on.
