Supporting learning in practice requires a collaborative approach between The University, our Practice Partners and students. The University of Southampton is committed to working with all our partners to ensure that both students and practice educators/ mentors are supported to facilitate the learning of our future workforce in practice settings.

Supporting learning in practice is  complex, diverse and specific to different organisations. The diagram above depicts the range of roles designated by the University to support learners and practice educators/mentors.

Practice partners who wish to learn more about how learners are supported by their own organisation are encouraged to seek further information from their own organisation.
