Alumni in Kenya

April 2006 saw the launch of the Kenya Alumni Branch in the Serena Hotel in Nairobi, attended by around 20 alumni.

The University’s links with Kenyan students go back to 1959 when our first Kenyan student graduated with a degree in botany. Since this date, more than 115 Kenyan students have successfully completed their degree at the University in subjects ranging from education, accounting, economics, law and statistics, to computer science, irrigation, engineering, oceanography and environmental science.
