AMT Reading Group reads selected texts to discuss themes and topics, concepts and issues in contemporary media theory. The selected work range from German media theory to new materialism, from issues of power and politics to the role technologies play informing what is produced as material reality. We read texts by writers such as Bernhard Siegert, Geoffrey Winthrop-Young, Donna Haraway, Cornelia Vismann, Brian Massumi and many others. The reading group convenes fortnightly in the PhD studio at WSA.
