Ramandeep Kaur is a Postgraduate Research Student for ANTC and Engineering and Physical Sciences at University of Southampton.

Ramandeep has B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India. Post completion of undergraduate studies, she worked with IBM and TATA Consultancy Services as a System Engineer for five years. Her interest in Aerodynamics led her to Cranfield University, UK where she did MSc in Aerospace Dynamics with specialisation in Aerodynamics. Her thesis was entitled “Aerodynamics of folding wing-tips on conventional aircraft”. She joined ANTC at University of Southampton as a research student in 2017. Her research work is focused on developing a fundamental understanding of scaling laws for landing gear noise.
