TAG 30 Southampton
The 30th meeting of the Theoretical Archaeology Group took place at the School of Humanities between 15 and 17 December 2008.
The meeting was a great success with a broad and exciting range of papers, including a stimulating debate on archaeology and politics, and plenty of social events to finish off each day. The meeting was truly interdisciplinary, reflecting Southampton's approach to archaeology and to the humanities as a whole, with speakers from english, music, art, history, computer science, and oceanography, in addition to archaeologists from all parts of the profession. The TAG30 committee would like to thank the more than 600 people who attended the meeting, and for all those who so generously helped make it a success.
