As part of the Festival of British Archaeology, Southampton Archaeology will be welcoming the replica Bantry Bay gig Intégrité to its new berth at Bucklers Hard.
There will be a full day of activities, including a demonstration of ship building techniques, and a chance to have a go at various experimental archaeology techniques.
The event will take place at Bucklers Hard, and a reduced fee has been negotiated. To qualify, you will need to bring with you the voucher or a University of Southampton id card. Reduced prices are £5 for adults, £4 for senior citizens, £3.40 and £3.50 for children, and £16 for families.
Activities take place throughout the day. The ceremony to welcome the gig will start at 2pm.
