Research project: Swanscombe Heritage Park project - Dormant - Dormant

Currently Active:

Swanscombe is famous across the world for its spectacular finds of Early Man.

Flint tools dating back 400,000 years to the early Stone Age - the Palaeolithic - litter the buried landscape under the current town. CAHO-C director Francis Wenban-Smith provided the text for a new initiative to develop local appreciation of this historic site and provide an easily accessible on-line interpretation.
