Research project: Virtual reality and archaeological interpretation

Currently Active:

Virtual reality techniques are applied to archaeological data at many different levels. This project involves the development of novel computing techniques for presenting and integrating archaeological datasets.

The project also explores the interface between computerised representations of the archaeological world, perception, navigation and inhabitation of constructed environments and the theoretical implications of created image- and sound-scapes through our interpretations.
