Neil Kensington Adam

Neil Kensington Adam (d. 1973), FRS, FRIC, was educated at Winchester College and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a Fellow of Trinity College, 1915-23; Royal Society Sorby Research Fellow at Sheffield University, 1921-9, and Professor of Chemistry at the University of Southampton, 1937-57.

Laboratory and prepartions notebooks, 1932-6, and selected working papers, 1930-63; correspondence, c.1925-70; offprints of articles by Adam and volumes from the Adam collection, including copies of The physics and chemistry of surfaces (1930).
