Helen E.Taylor graduated from the University College of Southampton in 1937 with a London external degree in English.  She subsequently had a career in teaching.

About the collection

Typescripts of prose and verse written by Helen Taylor, both under that name and her pen name Kate Alford.  The material includes `Barwood and the antipodes', `Total recall' and `The story that Miss wrote'.
