About the collection

The collection is composed of over five hundred handwritten sermons by Cohen, kept in the original numerical sequence, with notes of the times at which these were delivered. The sermons were mainly preached at Birmingham.

Some of the items were published in Sabbath Sermons, selected by Chaim Pearl and Alex Tobais (Soncino Press, London, 1960) and there are numbers and notes on the front of the sermons that relate to the selection of items for this publication.
