MS 34 Southampton and Hampshire letters

Eight letters and letter covers relating to Southampton and Hampshire.  The letter covers are from Sir George Stainton, 1834; Lord Bolton, 1836; Abel Rous Dottin, 1837; James Barlow Hoy, 1837; John Willis Fleming, 1837.  The letters are from F.T.Bond, first principal of the Hartley Institution, to Samuel Sharp, author of The Moabite stone, 29 March 1872, and from Revd Dr R.Mant of Southampton (father of the Bishop of Down). to Revd Dr Hall about a gentleman from Lincoln College, Oxford, who has offered himself to Mant as a curate, January 1812.  Copy of the examination of Martha Staton of St Mary's, Southampton, with removal order, 1 October 1839.
