Twenty letters from Joseph Jefferson (1766-1824), a dissenting minister, at Basingstoke, to Revd Jonathan Boucher, vicar of Epsom, Surrey, formerly an American loyalist and author of `Biographia Cumbriensis' in W.Hutchinson History of the county of Cumberland (2 vols., Carlisle, 1793-7) and A view of the causes and consequences of the American revolution; in thirteen discourses preached in North America between the year 1763 and 1775: with a historical preface (London, 1797): discussing the history and county of Cumberland, notes on Hampshire dialect, sermons and scriptures, Jefferson's school at Basingstoke and various publications, including one by Jefferson, 1797-1804.
