Bring your degree to life by discovering the Hartley Library’s hidden treasures. Explore the Special Collections and unlock primary source material to use in your research.

If you are interested in finding out more, come along to one of our drop-in sessions in the Archives and Manuscripts searchroom on Level 4 of the Hartley Library.

There will be the opportunity to browse original manuscripts and rare books including letters written by the Duke of Wellington, Queen Victoria and Gandhi. There also will be a chance to get advice from Special Collections staff on how to read and interpret these unique records.

Drop-In Sessions will take place at the following times:

Monday 2 November: 1400-1600

Friday 6 November: 1000-1200

Tuesday 10 November: 1400-1600

Wednesday 11 November: 1400-1600

Tuesday 17 November: 1000-1200

Monday 23 November: 1400-1600

Wednesday 25 November: 1400-1600

There is no need to book, just drop in; bring a friend!
