Watch the exciting trailer for the forthcoming film by the University's Autonomous Systems USRG - due to be launched as part of UK Robotics Week 2017.

The film has been made in response to EPSRC's Robotics and Autonomous Systems Grand Challenge. The Autonomous Systems USRG led by Professor James Scanlan has been hard at work on the film since January. They have collaborated with several other universities in the RAS Network. A big meeting held in February introduced the many participants to the film crew from local media company Robin Creative Media and filming began in earnest in March, at Fawley Power Station, currently being used as a location for the latest Star Wars movie.

The film will be launched on 26 June at 2.00 pm at the University's Cube Cinema located in the Students' Union Building on Highfield Campus. If you would like to attend the première book your place HERE

Everyone is welcome and there will be a chance to see some of the robots as well as enjoying the film.
