You are warmly invited to attend the Welcome Reception to be held in the Hartley Suite of the Staff Social Centre. The registration desk will be open for you to collect your conference badges and packs and poster boards will be available to give you the opportunity of putting up your posters early. Refreshments and light snacks will be available to start the meeting in a relaxed atmosphere to enable you to catch up with old friends and colleagues and give you the opportunity to make new ones.

This year’s conference dinner will be held at the Dolphin Hotel (http://www.dolphin-southampton.com/) in the heart of old Southampton. Previously patronised by Jane Austen, Admiral Lord Nelson and Queen Victoria, this handsome Georgian building now welcome’s the BALR2012 delegates.

Wine will accompany dinner but there will also be a cash bar should any delegate require. After dinner the Young Investigator Award and poster prize will be presented.
Coaches will collect delegates from the University bus terminus outside the Nuffield Theatre at 1900. After the dinner coaches will stop at each of the conference accommodation venues for delegates ease and comfort.
