Bayesian Agent-Based Population Studies Transforming simulation models of human migration

International migration is one of the most uncertain components of population change and a top-priority area for policy. Our project aims to change the way in which migration can be understood, predicted, and managed by developing a ground-breaking computer simulation model of migration.

This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement n° ERC-CoG-2016-725232) for 2017-2021.  The project is executed together with the University of Rostock, Germany.
