Ben has responsibility for ensuring equipment in the Teaching facilities is maintained in accordance with technical and health and safety procedures, diagnosing faults and repairing apparatus. He provides technical expertise and support across the range of Biological Sciences undergraduate practical courses with particular expertise in the provision of Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience practical classes. Ben has particular flair for the use of AD Instruments Power Labs and is the main point of contact for issues and queries relating to the teaching laboratories IT infrastructure.
Ben has responsibility for the line management of a Level 1b Laboratory technician.
