Centre for Biological Sciences’ celebration of Ada Lovelace Day 2015 Event

Dr Emily Grossman, from Sky 1's "Duck Quacks Don't Echo", will work with our undergraduates to consider why science communication is so important and to help them share their passion for science (11am-1pm). In an afternoon lecture (2-3pm in 35/1001), open to all of the University of Southampton, she will discuss why there are still so few women in science careers and what can be done to redress the balance, speaking from her own experiences. This will be followed by an informal discussion and get together (3-4pm in 85/2207), open to all members of the Centre for Biological Sciences.
