Event details
In this talk Kathryn Lilley will that describes why it is important to study the proteome and what added information it gives over gene expression studies. She will go to describe workflows typically applied in quantitative proteomics including how mass spectrometry is used to acquire quantitative data. Finally she will show how these methods can be applied to cell biological studies by using examples from her own lab's research where quantitative proteomics approaches have been applied to map the subcellular location of thousands of proteins per experiment, and how these change upon perturbation.
