Dr Rich Edwards’ paper Interactome-wide prediction of short, disordered protein interaction motifs in humans was one of the most accessed in Molecular BioSystems journal in September.
The Senior Research Fellow (Bioinformatics) in Biological Sciences uses the University’s advanced computational facilities to increase understanding of the interaction of proteins. Better knowledge of how molecules come together may aid successful drug treatments in future and can provide new insights into the mechanisms by which viruses infect their hosts.
