Research interests

My main motivation throughout academia has been addressing food security challenges through crop and management improvements; molecular and bioinformatic techniques in genomics is an area I am eager to explore further in my studies.

Past research have focused on plant morphology and physiology in poplar populations as well as in microbial inoculations of Brassicas to investigate nutrient uptake.

I was recently a research technician in Biological Sciences at the University of Southampton working on the NERC/BBSRC project investigating plasticity and domestication, using Brassicas.
