Jennifer has long been interested in ecology and finding solutions to environmental problems. Before returning to academia, she worked for a large professional services firm, initially as a Chartered Accountant and then as part of the Corporate Sustainability team, managing programmes to reduce environmental impacts.
Jen’s previous academic projects have included surveying species in tidal pools, and working with Marks and Spencer to create scenario plans for future crop production. She has also volunteered for the RSPB and Trees for Life, gaining experience in practical conservation and rewilding projects.
