Research interests

My interests are in sustainable agriculture, i.e. producing food for a growing human population with minimal impact on the environment, while making best use of our natural resources.

My current research project aims to improve the  water sustainability and quality of herb crops through better crop irrigation scheduling using remote thermal imaging. These findings will then be applied to the field to implement deficit irrigation, saving water whilst improving quality of the crop without cost to yield.
