I studied everything from plant biology to animal development and neuroscience it’s been incredibly broad which I really liked.

The last three years have been tough but a lot of fun as well. It’s been really nice to get to know new people, my project group have been very supportive. I didn’t really specialise in my degree, I studied everything from plant biology to animal development and neuroscience it’s been incredibly broad which I really liked.

I won the Biology prize for the best performance in the final year and a medal for achieving average marks of around 75 percent. But it wasn’t all work. I’ve been a keen member of the Dance Society and taught a stretch and flex class every week as well.

I’m interested in a career as a dietician and have arranged an internship to find out what it’s all about but I know I’ll have to take a further course in nutrition before I can get a job. My dream is to help people in the best way I can, I’m so pleased I came to Southampton, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
