The last three years have been busy! It’s been a really really really good experience!

The highlight was going on the Spanish field course for ten days in the first year. It brought the whole cohort together and we bonded as a year group.

The practical side was something that we looked forward to every week and then being able to use that and applying it to the theory was really good as well. For my dissertation, I looked at the effect of the cycle network on local butterfly populations around Bristol and whether the cycle paths could be used as a conservation resource. Now that I’ve graduated, I have a place on Teach First so I’ll be teaching science in secondary schools which I’ve wanted to do since sixth form. In five- ten years’ time, I’d like to have a master’s in education and I’d like to be well on my way to becoming a head teacher.
