There was no UEB meeting this week, instead there was a UEB Awayday at the University of Southampton Science Park attended by our incoming President and Vice Chancellor, Professor Mark E. Smith.<\/p>\n

The Awayday took the form of a series of high-level briefings to familiarise Mark with the 2019-20 business plans for each of the five Faculties and Professional Services, and how they will collectively underpin delivery of our overall strategy for the next financial year. Our three Vice-Presidents also provided updates on their respective Education and Student Experience, Research and Enterprise, and Internationalisation strategies.<\/p>\n

There were also briefings on our 10-Year Plan Portfolio of strategic and transformational projects; on our marketing activity, the OneWeb transformation project; our philanthropy and support engagement; and on our Staff Survey and action plans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
