Senior Teaching Fellow

Mrs Lakshi Doorgakunt is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Accounting was previously a Senior Lecturer at Kaplan Business School, Australia.

Lakshi has spent around 10 years as auditor in firms of the like of KPMG, Grant Thornton and Barclays Bank. As an academic, she held junior roles( like tutor and lecturer) at Griffith University and the University of Southern Queensland, Australia to mid-career roles(Senior Lecturer) at Kaplan Business School, Australia.

During her tenure in her previous positions, she has also been involved in the curriculum development of  various auditing and financial accounting modules both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Her research interests are in the field of auditing and accounting.
Lakshi has presented papers at credible conferences such as The European Auditing Research Network (EarNet) Conference and the Accounting and Accountability in Emerging Economies(AAEE) conference at University of Essex.
