Dr Youngseok Thomas Choi is Associate Professor in Digital Marketing at Southampton Business School.

Dr Youngseok Thomas Choi is Associate Professor/Reader in Digital Marketing at Southampton Business School. Previously he was Senior Lecturer at Brunel University London and had held lectureship at Loughborough University and Coventry University. Also he was working as a research fellow funded by EU project (PolicyCompass, FP7).

His research interests cover the various digital data analytics topic based on advanced machine learning approach that can derive the hidden value from big open data. His research topics include marketing analytics, energy data analytics (green IT), philosophy of Artificial Intelligence and application of computational approach to traditional behavioural science.

Dr Choi is working with leading AdTech/Marketing Technology Companies regarding digital data analytics for DMP (Data Marketing Platform) design. Research is covering not only the analytic algorithms for marketing campaign, but also the marketing dashboard design based on the data visualisation principles.
