Dr Aarti Sood MSc, PhD, PGCPP, FHEA

Aarti joined Southampton Business School as a Senior Teaching Fellow in Marketing in November 2016. She holds a MSc Marketing Management and PhD in Marketing from Aston Business School (Birmingham).

Previously Aarti was a Lecturer in Marketing at Aston Business School, teaching at both UG and PG levels. She was also actively involved in new programme and module development and has been Programme Director for various Management degrees.

Her research interests include cross-cultural research, internal marketing, services management and student experience in higher education. Her previous research has studied optimising customer orientation through service delivery and employee empowerment with particular focus on behavioural and attitudinal change for satisfaction within an organisation.

Aarti is a member of the Academy of Marketing and the European Marketing Academy as well as a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority. On an adhoc basis she reviews for the British Journal of Management and the European Journal of Marketing. She has presented her work at various national and international conferences.
