Why did you choose to come and study at Southampton and the Business School?
I chose Southampton because it is ranked among the 1% top universities in the world (QS World Rankings 2018). Additionally, the Business School MBA is accredited by AMBA.
What is Southampton/the Business School like as a place to study?
Completely professional. You get up-to-date resources and lecturers are both highly qualified and experienced.
What were your Southampton ‘highlights’? 
I loved the international environment. Everyone is friendly and you feel welcomed. You can get around the city quite easily and it is well connected to London and other attractions.
What did you enjoy most about your course?
Having the chance to work with people from all over the world.
What opportunities have you taken up within your degree programme and how have they helped your personal development?
I have been able to apply all the knowledge and skills I learned to real business situations and I am glad to say I have done it successfully.
What other activities did you take advantage of while at University?
We took a whole module in Maastricht and Brussels, where we had local lecturers and visited a variety of businesses. It was really enjoyable and we certainly learned a lot.
What are you up to now and what’s your ambition?
I am currently working in a consultancy project in a family business. After gaining some experience, I would like to pursue a PhD.
What tips/advice would you give to a student starting their degree at Southampton?
Enjoy every single moment – time really does fly.
