Southampton Business School is delighted to announce its first Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) student has completed his studies.

DBA student David Grady, will officially graduate in Summer 2018.

David commented:

"I have found that completing a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) with the University of Southampton has opened new doors for me. My potential for a portfolio career has increased greatly and I have the option of a much wider range of interesting and challenging career opportunities.

It is important to be under no illusion: research at a Doctorate level is hard work, but it is also rewarding in equal measure. It is both daunting and exciting to be on the outer-envelope of one’s research area.

A DBA is unique in its requirement to make a professional as well as academic contribution. I would advocate studying a DBA with the University of Southampton."

The DBA is a part-time degree designed for professionals in full-time employment. It gives you access to the latest ideas in your sector and enables you to apply them to a real-world problem within your organisation. We welcome candidates with either an MBA or MSc, or a professional business qualification.
