The University of Southampton is launching a Level 7 Senior Leader Master’s Degree Apprenticeship, underpinned by the new Southampton MBA and dual accredited with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.

A Senior Leader is someone who is responsible for direction and vision, providing a clear sense of purpose and strategic intent for an organisation. They understand global market trends and environmental influences, identifying longer-term opportunities and risks. Through inclusive leadership, they are responsible for developing sustainable, innovative and resilient cultures that can deliver results.

MBA Director at the University of Southampton Business School, Dr Nuno Da Camara said:

“We have worked extensively with the CMI and other critical stakeholders to produce a new MBA programme, which focuses on leading people and organisations to face the critical challenges of sustainability, innovation and change in today’s highly volatile and uncertain environment.

Taught by world-class academics, the Southampton MBA delivers cutting-edge thinking and requires you to apply it to real business problems through a combination of business research, ‘live’ client consultancy, company visits, international study trips and regular exposure to senior business leaders.

By developing your analytical, strategic and leadership skills across all business disciplines, you will gain a more holistic view of management and leadership, which will propel your career to new heights.“
