Business academic wins Teaching award at Vice Chancellor’s Awards
Southampton Business School is proud to announce Dr Shahnaz Ibrahim, Senior Teaching Fellow in Strategy and Innovation won the Teaching award at the Vice Chancellor’s Awards. The awards evening was a celebration of our University colleagues’ talent, dedication and achievements.
Shahnaz Ibrahim: “I am honoured and humbled to have won this award. It is such a privilege. I am thankful and grateful to those who nominated me, be it the colleagues whom I have had great pleasure working with, or my amazing students who inspired and motivated me to achieve my best.
Working in such a collegial and supportive environment like the one that Southampton Business School offers energised me and derived me to challenge myself and perform to my best ability. I feel so fulfilled as and when becoming part of our students’ transformational journey here at Southampton. It is a great sense of joy and accomplishment to contribute to raising next generation of mission-led and socially responsible business leaders and entrepreneurs.”

Dr Shahnaz Ibrahim joined Southampton Business School in 2010, whilst completing her PhD in corporate social responsibility and sustainability in small and medium-sized enterprises. Shahnaz now dedicates much of her time as Programme Leader for MSc Business Strategy and Innovation Management, and continues to inspire as a Postgraduate Senior Tutor, Undergraduate and Postgraduate lecturer in the areas of entrepreneurship, social and digital, and also supervises Undergraduate and PhD students in these areas.
