Event details

How many social media notifications will you receive by the time you finish reading this paragraph? How many posts have been exchanged on multiple social media platforms worldwide during the past few seconds? What do these frequencies mean for the interface between our personal and professional spheres? Is social media improving how we combine our work and non-work lives, is it adding more strain to their interface, or is it not making any difference? In this talk, I intend to discuss these questions based on interviews with forty-plus professionals in the UK.
