Patrick Nadan MBA2018

MBA student Patrick Nadan from Fiji, exchanged the University of Southampton for a four month internship at the Peter Charles consultancy in London following the taught element of his degree. The firm provides interim finance teams to work alongside clients' staff to introduce new programmes.

Patrick worked alongside a project manager preparing weekly progress reports. He enjoyed the experience and believes this insight into work at a consultancy will help him in his career.

 

I would encourage other MBA students, especially international students, to think about engaging in a placement. If you can remain in the UK for a few months it would help you to understand the business world and start networking.

Patrick liked working in the capital: "It was a good learning experience for me to work at a large organisation in London and I know it will be good to add this to my CV. I would have liked to stay on at Peter Charles, but the conditions of my scholarship meant I had to return home.
