MSc Project Management has global and up-to-date information, which makes me feel well-educated. It is easy to understand and each part of the course is well designed and equipped with practical knowledge.

Why did you choose to study at Southampton?

When I found the MSc Project Management programme via the internet, I decided to apply without hesitation. The main reason was that I was particularly drawn to the global opportunities that exist with this programme. Also with its nature as a research University and its global ranking, there was no need to hesitate.

What is it like studying here?

Studying in Southampton is a totally new experience and at the same time involving a tradition. All of my lecturers are fascinating people and they changed my way of thinking even in the first lesson.

What are you enjoying most about your course?

MSc Project Management has global and up-to-date information, which makes me feel well-educated. It is easy to understand and each part of the course is well designed and equipped with practical knowledge.

Have you taken advantage of any extra opportunities outside of your course?

The most useful opportunity I have benefited from is being a Course Representative. I am able to learn by knowing how important it is to take responsibility and organise correctly.

What have been your Southampton highlights so far?

My best experience in Southampton is the additional lectures that are provided by other faculties such as Humanities. Each additional lecture gives me an additional perspective and widens my world.

How has your time at Southampton helped you to grow as a person?

I should highlight that the education and research discipline of the School leads you to improve. The way the courses and assessments are structured, impacts students to be more self-disciplined which is a vital skill for everyday life.

What is the city of Southampton like to live in?

The city of Southampton is not just a city. The moment you step into it, the city will start to bloom in your heart. Even the wind that cannot be protected will be something you miss when you are away!

What are your plans and/or ambitions after you graduate?

I want to continue onto my PhD and build an academic career as a researcher.

What advice would you give to a student starting at Southampton?

The only advice I would give is that every day in the School including your first day, look around properly and you will see something new and exciting everywhere.
